Our high-resolution printed floors are replicas of the Old War Office in Whitehall is an iconic building that was used throughout both world wars as a centre of operations. Lord Kitchener, Winston Churchill and Lawrence of Arabia all had offices in the building which has five floors above ground as well as basements and sub-basements which housed offices and bomb shelters during WW2. The reclaimed pitch pine was straight grained and blemish free material as you would expect in such a prestigious building. Over 110 years of ageing has created a rich patina with strong greyish undertones that almost feel weathered.
